Tumbhimall is a marketplace for an artist which connects them with buyers. Any form of handmade art can be sold on Tumbhimall. As of today, we have categories such as Photographs, Paintings which are made available for Sellers to sell their relevant artworks. Yes, we have a seamless selling process which helps the users to register as seller on Tumbhimall and sell their existing artwork/s uploaded on Tumbhi.com
Yes, even if you don't have a website you can still sell on Tumbhimall.
Selling on Tumbhimall is easy
- Register as a seller on Tumbhimall.com
- Your completed Seller Registration form will be approved by Tumbhimall team within 48 business hours. This will complete your Seller Registration Process.
- Login to seller portal on Tumbhimall.com and upload the artwork under specific art categories.
- The uploaded artwork once approved by Tumbhimall will be published on the website and will be available for buyers to buy.

If you have a PAN Card, you can still register as a Seller. Company Name, VAT/TIN No is mandatory if your annual sale is more than 10 Lac Rupees. We suggest you to also check with your tax consultant.
After all, the required documents have been verified and your Seller Profile is complete and approved, you can start listing your artworks and start selling.
A Model Release is a legal release signed by the subject of a photograph granting permission to use or publish the photograph in one form or another.
If you are including in your photograph the face or identifiable features of any person you will need a signed model release from that person

A Property Release is a legal release signed by the owner of property used in a photograph granting permission to use or publish the photograph in one form or another.
If you are including in your photograph recognizable private property (building, car, airplane etc.) you will need a signed model release from that person or property owner.
Authors do not need one for public property, such as government buildings (although you may run into problems just from photographing/videoing them, for security reasons!). For images of private property — and particularly of objects that are closely identified with specific people — photographers are urged to get a release.

Yes, the subject of your photographs can include private individuals or recognizable private property. However, you would need to secure a release agreement from them before you upload it on Tumbhimall. If you are including in your photograph the face or identifiable features of any person you will need a signed model release from that person. If you are including in your photograph recognizable private property (building, car, airplane etc.) you will need a signed model release from that person or property owner.
LISTING AND UPLOAD
Listing an artwork refers to filling out all the necessary information and adding images of the artwork so that a buyer can make an informed buying decision. You can start with even one listing and gradually increase the number of listings. But we encourage you to upload as many artworks as possible to increase the visibility of your shop.
Listing of artworks on Tumbhimall.com is absolutely free. Tumbhimall does not charge anything for listing your artwork online and there is no monthly fee to be paid. You are free to upload as many artworks you want. You only pay facilitation fee for every successful order.
- If you haven’t already registered as a seller on Tumbhimall, you first need to register and login to your Seller Account
- Upon logging in select the Upload Artwork functionality and select the artwork category to upload the images of the artwork.
- Provide relevant details for every artwork that is uploaded and submit for approval.
- Once the artwork has been approved, it shall be listed on the website and visible to buyers.
Tumbhimall reviews all the artwork uploads to make sure that the photo quality is acceptable and the artwork are not illegal/offensive in nature. Tumbhimall will approve the artwork within 48 business hours after which the artwork will appear in your shop on Tumbhimall.com
PRICING AND PAYMENTS
You as a seller will have complete freedom to decide the pricing of your artwork. Except for Photography, you as a seller will also need to provide logistic (delivery) cost that you would incur when shipping the artwork. The final price displayed to the buyer will always be inclusive of all the costs. Tumbhimall will charge a certain amount of percentage as facilitation fee for every successful order.

The payment will be made directly to your bank account through NEFT transactions on 01st and 16th of every month (if there are bank or national holidays then dates would advance accordingly). The payments will be made for all the successful orders completed before the payment dates.
PACKAGING AND LOGISTICS
Packaging and Delivery of the artwork to buyers address will be Seller’s responsibility. Tumbhimall will provide guidelines to sellers on how the packaging should be. Sellers are free to choose their own courier company to ship their artwork to the buyer.
In the case of Photographs, printers and framers with whom Tumbhimall has tied up will handle the shipment since we will be selling only printed and framed photos.
Tumbhimall will give detailed guidelines on how to pack your artwork. The packaging material needs to be procured by the seller. You can include the cost of packaging while deciding the shipping cost.
You as a seller will need to decide the shipping charges. These shipping charges needs to be pre-calculated and entered while uploading your artwork. Shipping cost is decided based on the actual and volumetric weight of the artwork. Tumbhimall will provide shipping calculator which will help you arrive at approximate shipping cost. You can access this calculator once you are registered seller with Tumbhimall and log in to your account.
Through our seller dashboard, Tumbhimall makes it really easy for you to manage your orders. Whenever a buyer places an order, we send you an e-mail alert. You need to pack the order and courier it to the buyer within 48 business hours after receiving the order. Once the order is dispatched, you will need to enter logistic details (Courier Company Name and Tracking No) on Tumbhimall portal which will help buyer track the shipment.
No, currently our operations are limited to India.
All the requests for return of artwork will be decided on case to case basis. Tumbhimall allows returns from buyer in below mentioned circumstances:
- Photographs – Only if the artwork is received as damaged or there are any serious quality issues or if the order is not fulfilled as requested. Damage includes transit damage.
- Other Artworks (Paintings, Sculptures and Home Décor) – Returns will be accepted if the artwork is damaged during transit or if the seller has shipped damaged artwork. Returns will also be accepted if incorrect artwork has been shipped than what was requested in the order or if the buyer does not like the artwork for any genuine reason.
